Comfort 30

This Example of a comfort 30 has been well used and well maintained by the current owner, She has been reffitted and upgraded for offshore sailing and as such is ready to put to sea immediately. She has had extensive work done including an engine rebuild in 2023. The engine is a Yanmar 2gm20 which runs well and has proved itself reliable. The comfort 30 was designed by Kenneth Albinsson who based his design on that of a Joker S30 designed by Rolf Magnusson and this particular boat was built in 1978 by Robertsons in Scotland as an improvement to the Albin Ballard, she has the same hull design but a deeper, higher aspect ratio, a lead keel and a semi balanced rudder for improved manoeuvrability and performance. The comfort 30 is the perfect boat for an adventurous spirit looking for a reliable sailing boat on a budget.
